Live demonstrations of Zetron’s Advanced Communications (AcomEVO) System connected through the Project 25 (P25) Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI) to EFJohnson’s ATLAS P25 infrastructure will be on display at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, NV, March 18-19, 2015.
Redmond, WA, U.S.A., March 9, 2015 – Zetron, a leading provider of mission-critical communications solutions worldwide, announced that at this year’s International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), it will offer live demonstrations of its Advanced Communications (AcomEVO) system integrated with EFJohnson’s ATLAS Project 25 (P25) radio infrastructure. The event will be held in Las Vegas, NV, March 16–20. The demos will be offered during exhibit hours March 18–19.
The demonstrations will highlight both fixed and mobile dispatch capabilities, with fixed AcomEVO dispatch consoles on display in the Zetron booth, and mobile/tablet dispatch consoles on display at both the Zetron and EFJohnson booths. The solution will be connected through the TIA P25 Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI).
“This demonstration showcases EFJohnson’s commitment to interoperability using open-standards-based interfaces to promote flexible solutions,” said Arindam Roy, Director of Product Management Systems at EF Johnson Technologies. “CSSI-based solutions offer real-world interoperability. This demonstration will give customers confidence that they have a choice in procuring and integrating console system and radio system solutions from different manufacturers.”
“Our live demonstrations at IWCE will give customers an important opportunity to see for themselves how a real, P25-based solution works,” said Zetron V.P. of Product Management and Marketing, Kathy Broadwell. “The demos will illustrate in very concrete terms the range of benefits such solutions deliver, including smooth compatibility across systems.”
