Product Owner
Position Purpose
As a Product Owner at Zetron you will be a strategic contributor, acting as the voice of our customers to our development teams working on legacy products. The Product Owner is a crucial component in the product development cycle, creating relationships and bridging gaps between Internal Stakeholders: Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Systems Integration, Services, Support and Senior Management to maximize product value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Create and manage the Product Backlog with input from stakeholders, ensuring that it aligns with our business needs and the product roadmap
- Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
- Assess value, develops cases, and prioritizes stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
- Clearly communicate the contents of the backlog to teams of developers and to less technically proficient stakeholders.
- Ensure the voice of the customer is communicated to the Engineering team working on the product.
- Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
- Attend Agile and Scrum ceremonies as requested by the Scrum Master.
- High level release planning.
