Modular Communications, Inc. (ModUcom), the manufacturer of the Ultra-Com 9-1-1 Call Processing and Radio Dispatch systems, is no longer supporting the Ultra-Com call processing and radio dispatch product lines.

B&E Electronics, a communications technology solutions leader since 1966 and longtime solutions and services provider of ModUcom’s Ultra-Com systems, has since acquired the Ultra-Com parts inventory.

B&E Electronics has also partnered with Zetron, a leading provider of emergency call handling and radio dispatch systems. For nearly 40 years Zetron has provided a full suite of end-to-end mission critical communications solutions for PSAPs and other public/commercial command and control centers.

ModUcom Systems Going Forward

Together, B&E Electronics and Zetron have teamed to provide a business support resource for Ultra-Com system customers. Even when your technology provider ceases operations or is acquired, your critical communications operations must continue to answer the call.

Former ModUcom resources that were intimately involved in the development, maintenance, and support of the Ultra-Com systems have been brought onboard the Zetron team to ensure users of ModUcom solutions continue to have a core resource beyond their dealer/reseller that knows their systems. B&E Electronics and Zetron will make reasonable efforts to work with you and/or your dealer to provide remote technical assistance and parts (based on availability) as needed to maintain the continuity and operation of Ultra-Com systems until a transition can be made.

When you’re ready to transition to a new mission critical communications system, B&E Electronics and Zetron will work with you to provide a seamless transition that minimizes operational disruption and provides a new state of the art system that can be updated and upgraded going forward. As a current Ultra-Com system user, you probably have questions and rightly so.
