Scott French

Executive General Manager and President

Scott serves as the President and Executive General Manager and joined Zetron in 2017.  As President Scott leads the Zetron division of Codan an Australian company based in Adelaide.

Scott has a wealth of experience from 30+ years working at several world-class organizations, including Motorola and Panasonic. Scott began his career with the Department of the Army as an Industrial Engineer focused on improving operational efficiency.  Scott moved to Motorola after being inspired by the role that public safety fire communications played in saving many lives from a burning high rise in Baltimore, MD.   Across 15 years, Scott held many roles of increasing responsibility honing his leadership skills.  In 2009 Scott joined Panasonic as the Vice President of Public Sector where he led the companywide transformation from product to solution sales. In addition, Scott also served as Vice Chairman TechAmerica, representing both Motorola and Panasonic, and was also the Chair of the State and Local Government and Education Executive Council of IT Alliance for Public Sector.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and undertook MBA studies with a focus on leadership at Loyola University Maryland.

“My favorite thing about Zetron is the collective sense across the entire company of doing something every day that has a positive impact on the community.”

Scott was born in the UK and grew up playing many sports but has a passion for playing and coaching baseball. The lessons taught over 40 years in the game continue to guide his leadership style and messaging. Our favorite lesson is the one where he defines a bad throw as a ball that is not caught which reminds us to take 100% responsibility for our actions. He’s also a huge fan of his Hokies of Virginia Tech, the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens.
