Instant recall recorders monitor and record telephone and radio traffic in emergency applications such as police, fire, ambulance and coastguard. Digitally recorded messages are time stamped for immediate retrieval in critical situations where accurate verification of the conversation is required.

The Model 3022 Instant Recall Recorder is a modular, solid state audio recorder designed for use in Public Safety communications centers. It records and stores recent telephone calls or radio transactions from an operator’s position. This allows the operator to retrieve stored calls easily without leaving their position to go to the logging recorder.

Recording is done in digital memory, eliminating mechanical failures while providing instant recall. The Model 3022 stores up to 64 minutes of conversation at standard sample rate, or up to 128 minutes at reduced sample rate.
