Establishes a Dedicated Full-Duplex Link to Remote Locations
The Model 72 Extend-a-Line is used to extend a telephone line out to a remote location using a pair of full-duplex radios. One Model 72 and one full-duplex radio are installed at the nearest point of access to the public telephone system, and another Model 72 Extend-a-Line and full-duplex radio are installed at the remote location.
The Model 72 at the remote location supports a standard telephone-type device, whether it’s a telephone, facsimile machine, or modem. The Model 72 provides a cost-effective method of connecting to the public telephone system when phone lines are either unavailable or prohibitively expensive to install.
